New Centralised Fundraising Platform To Support Animal Rescues launched in Ireland

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BBNM Launches New Centralised Fundraising Platform To Support Animal Rescues Across Ireland

Irish rescue organisations can now access a new fundraising platform designed specifically to support long term animal welfare efforts across the country.

Big Bark News & Media (BBNM) has officially announced the launch of its new Centralised Fundraising Platform, a dedicated fundraising and support infrastructure created specifically for Irish animal rescues and welfare organisations.

The platform, which officially launches on the 1st of June, has been developed following the conclusion of the Irish Dog Calendar Project, with BBNM stating that it wanted to continue finding meaningful ways to directly support rescues throughout Ireland.

The new system allows verified rescues to create their own fundraising campaigns while also allowing members of the public to fundraise directly on behalf of their chosen rescue organisations.

One of the key focuses of the platform is transparency and trust.

All donations made through the system are deposited directly into the rescue or charity's own Stripe connected account, with BBNM confirming that it never holds donor funds at any stage of the process.

The platform operates with a 3% platform fee, making it one of the lowest fee fundraising infrastructures currently available while still allowing BBNM to maintain and continue developing the service for rescues nationwide.

Features of the platform include:

• Verified rescue profiles
• Direct fundraising campaigns
• Public fundraisers on behalf of rescues
• Secure Stripe powered infrastructure
• Transparent donation handling
• Donations paid directly to rescue accounts
• Long term fundraising support tools

BBNM has also confirmed that rescue listings have already been pre created for organisations throughout Ireland, allowing rescues to claim and verify their profiles ahead of launch.

Once approved, organisations can onboard to Stripe directly through their rescue dashboard, a process which typically takes just a few minutes to complete.

Following onboarding, rescues can begin launching fundraising campaigns immediately, while supporters and members of the public can also begin creating fundraising campaigns directly in support of those rescues.

Speaking about the launch, BBNM said the initiative is part of a much larger long term vision focused on building real infrastructure for Irish animal welfare organisations.

"Our goal is simple, to create real tools, real support and real infrastructure that directly helps rescues save more lives. We wanted to move beyond awareness alone and build something practical that can have a direct impact for organisations working tirelessly every day across Ireland."

The fundraising platform is powered by Stripe, a company with strong connections to Limerick, which BBNM says made it a natural fit for an Irish built platform supporting Irish rescues.

Rescues can begin signing up and claiming their listings now ahead of the official launch on the 1st of June.
