How do I set up my Optus webmail in Outlook

Steps to setup Optus mail in outlook.
• Open Outlook application in system
• Go to file option available in left side top corner
• Click on account settings
• Add Optus email
• Select Server type IMAP or POP (Imap is more preferable than pop)

IMAP Optus Incoming Mail Settings:

• Server: mail.optusnet.com.au or imap.optusnet.com.au
o Port Number: 993
o Encryption method: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Settings:
• Server: mail.optusnet.com.au or smtp.optusnet.com.au
o Port Number: 587
o Encryption method: STARTTLS
Or
o Port Number: 465
o Encryption method: SSL/ TLS
Enter your Optus email password and save mail settings.

POP Optus Incoming Mail Settings:
• Server: mail.optus.com.au or pop.optusnet.com.au
o Port Number: 995
o Encryption method: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Settings:

• Server: mail.optusnet.com.au or smtp.optusnet.com.au
o Port Number: 587
o Encryption method: STARTTLS

o Port Number: 465
o Encryption method: SSL/ TLS
Enter your Optus email password and save mail settings in outlook.
