AI chatbot Grok has shared how valuable XRP could become if major banks start using the XRP Ledger instead of SWIFT for cross-border payments.

The discussion started after an XRP community member asked (https://x.com/InvestWithD/status/2052392233819853052?s=20) Grok how much transaction volume the XRP Ledger could handle if banks adopted XRP for 24/7 real-time settlements.

Grok said the XRP Ledger could eventually process between $30 trillion and $150 trillion in transactions every year if adoption expands globally.

XRP's Opportunity in Global Payments

Grok explained that XRP's biggest opportunity comes from the massive cross-border payments industry. According to the AI, the market processed about $195 trillion in 2024 and could reach $320 trillion by 2032.

Right now, SWIFT controls most international bank transfers. But Grok believes XRP could get a role if banks move toward faster blockchain-based payment systems.

The AI added that adoption would likely happen gradually. Banks may first use XRP in specific payment corridors or liquidity hubs before expanding usage worldwide.
