Kithli Announces CTO and Strategic Advisor Appointments, Launches $2.5M Seed Round

Kithli, the healthcare technology company building the first Clinical Logistics-as-a-Service (CLaaSTM) platform for ambulatory surgery centers, today announced the appointments of Dr. Ash Alom as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer and John A. Ervin, DMgt, MBA, BSN, RN, PMP as Strategic Advisor, and the launch of a $2.5M seed financing round.
The Problem
Missed appointments, no-shows, and dark OR time cost the U.S. healthcare system an estimated $150 billion annually - approximately $1,500 per hour of cancelled or unused surgical time. A primary driver: patients arriving without a verified "responsible adult" companion, resulting in day-of cancellations that are entirely preventable. Kithli's CLaaSTM platform closes this gap with a peer-to-peer marketplace of verified escorts integrated directly into ASC EHR workflows

Dr. Ash Alom, Co-Founder and CTO
Dr. Alom is co-founder and CTO of DocSpera Health, active in 1,500+ physician practices. He holds a Doctorate in Adaptive User Interfaces and brings healthcare AI experience from Blue Shield of California and Altais. He joined Kithli after hearing the company's pitch and recognizing the uniqueness of the approach.
John A. Ervin, DMgt, MBA, BSN, RN, PMP - Strategic Advisor
John Ervin brings 30 years of healthcare leadership spanning clinical practice, operational strategy, and systems-level innovation. As Founder of Allnet Medical and a recognized veteran advocate and innovation mentor, he has spent his career at the intersection of clinical expertise and strategic execution.
Both Dr. Alom and Mr. Ervin arrived at the same conclusion independently: "No one else is doing anything like this."
