Fixy Code - open source terminal that lets Claude Code, Codex and Gemini collaborate on the same codebase

Unioney, a US-based software company, announced the launch of Fixy Code, an open source terminal tool that enables multiple AI coding agents - including Anthropic's Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex, and Google's Gemini - to collaborate in a single shared conversation thread.

Unlike existing AI coding tools that operate in isolation, Fixy Code allows agents to see each other's output, review each other's code, and challenge each other's decisions. When agents reach conflicting conclusions, the developer chooses which approach to pursue.

Fixy Code requires no new subscriptions. It works with developers' existing Claude Code and Codex installations and inherits their existing authentication. All code runs locally and never leaves the developer's machine.

Most AI coding tools today give developers a single agent that operates alone. That agent has no peer to challenge its assumptions, catch its blind spots, or question its approach. Fixy Code changes that by bringing multiple agents from different companies into one shared workspace. Because Claude Code and Codex were trained independently by different organizations with different methodologies, they naturally produce different perspectives on the same problem. Those differences surface issues that a single agent would miss entirely.

Key features include @mention routing to address specific agents directly, an @all command that triggers a full collaboration loop across all agents, and an adversarial Red Room mode that forces agents to actively challenge each other's proposals. When agents disagree, developers see a clear choice panel and decide which approach wins.

Fixy Code is MIT licensed, fully open source, and available now as a free install via npm.
