Sankalp Singh, Founder and CEO of CodeReveal, has officially announced the discontinuation of Horrify.in, an audio storytelling platform developed under the CodeReveal brand.

As of April 25, 2026, all services associated with Horrify.in have been permanently shut down. The platform was designed to deliver immersive audio-based storytelling experiences to users and featured a wide range of content across multiple genres, including horror, romance, thriller, adventure, and more. It aimed to provide an engaging and accessible entertainment format for users who prefer audio content over traditional reading or video formats.

Despite strong initial enthusiasm, creative direction, and continuous development efforts, the platform did not achieve the level of user adoption and long-term sustainability required to continue operations. After conducting a detailed internal review of performance, growth potential, and resource allocation, CodeReveal made the strategic decision to discontinue the service and reallocate its focus toward more scalable and impactful ventures.

Speaking on the decision, Sankalp Singh said, "Horrify was not a successful platform overall, but it has been a valuable learning experience. I started working on it when I was in Class 10, and it played an important role in shaping my understanding of building products, managing platforms, and understanding user behavior. Every project teaches something, and Horrify has been an important part of that journey."
