Over a 12-month engagement, Seasia developed a custom WordPress-based website and digital showroom experience designed to better reflect the brand's premium positioning while making the platform more practical for everyday business use.

A website that needed to feel as considered as the product

Ateliers London's business is built around bespoke upholstery, cabinetry, and handcrafted furniture made from premium materials including hardwoods, veneers, metals, stone, and fine fabrics. Its offering spans sofas, chairs, beds, tables, benches, and other custom furnishings, which meant the website had to do more than simply display products. It needed to convey depth, taste, and a level of confidence that luxury buyers expect from the first interaction.

The challenge was not purely aesthetic. The brand also needed a platform that could support two very different kinds of journeys at once: stocked products that users could browse more directly, and bespoke pieces that required a more tailored, specification-led experience.

The real work was happening behind the scenes

According to Seasia's design team, one of the biggest hurdles was complexity in the backend. Ateliers London was working with large volumes of product and resource data coming from two separate systems, Jeeves and Kvaser, and needed those systems to stay aligned across pricing, descriptions, versions, files, and related resources. Seasia also notes that sync processes could run for as long as four hours, with limited exception handling and user-facing inconsistencies caused by data mismatches.

That kind of problem is easy to underestimate. For a luxury brand, the digital layer has to feel seamless - but that seamlessness usually depends on a great deal of structure behind the curtain.

What Seasia built

Seasia's response was to create a tailored WordPress-based platform with custom modules and a bespoke theme. The resulting website includes a custom-built catalogue for in-stock items, detailed product pages, advanced filtering by product type, materials, finishes, and availability, and a framework for managing custom-made orders with unique specifications and upholstery details.

The company also built a dedicated Projects section to showcase completed bespoke work across residential, hospitality, commercial, and yacht sectors. A secure login area gives preferred clients access to exclusive pricing, additional product information, and more personalized content. On the operational side, backend CRM integration helps centralize inventory management, inquiries, client communication, and order tracking.

Seasia says the finished platform now functions as a global luxury showroom, helping Ateliers London strengthen its digital presence, improve discovery, support trade-client engagement, and create a smoother path from browsing to inquiry. The case study also points to better workflow efficiency through CRM integration and a more scalable setup for adding products, projects, and custom offerings over time.

That matters because in luxury, presentation alone is never enough. A brand can look premium and still lose people through friction, clutter, or lack of clarity. The stronger digital experiences are usually the ones that make elegance feel effortless.
