SupraTix Opens Up Its Patent and Launches New Initiatives for Human-Centered AI

To mark its tenth anniversary, the Dresden-based technology company is bringing together partners from business, science, education, and society--and turning a day of celebration into concrete next steps: SupraTank, FutureSkills, and AI consulting for small and medium-sized businesses.

Dresden, April 22, 2026 - Ten years of SupraTix - and not a day to simply reminisce. At the anniversary celebration on April 21 in Dresden, SupraTix GmbH not only looked back on its development but also ushered in a new chapter: The company announced that it would make one of its own patents publicly and freely available in the future. In doing so, SupraTix is sending a clear signal in favor of open innovation, digital sovereignty, and technology that empowers people rather than making them dependent.

At the heart of the anniversary was a message that defined the day: It is not technology that changes the world. People do--when they take responsibility.

"Ten years of SupraTix are not an ending. They are a promise," said Tobias Goecke, co-founder and managing director of SupraTix GmbH, in his anniversary speech. "A promise that we will continue to approach technology with a human touch, further open up education, and view artificial intelligence not as a replacement for people, but as a tool to enhance their strengths."

The anniversary celebration began at the Dachcaf? of the Haus der Presse in Dresden with the VIEW - Decoding Origins session. After arrivals and greetings, the day was officially opened with a welcome address by the President of the Saxon State Parliament. SupraTix then provided insights into developments over the past years and current projects from its own network. Partners presented initiatives including SpeakSphere, VUCASUPPORT, AI Valley, MINT Hamburg, the Open Skills Consortium, and Lernendes Dresden--not as a traditional stage, but as an invitation to connect: Where do interfaces emerge? Where do ideas become shared next steps?

In the afternoon, the event moved to the historic paddle steamer "Dresden" operated by Saechsische Dampfschifffahrt. Under the title FLOW - Together in the Same Boat - Shaping the Future, participants worked in thematic clusters on real-world challenges from education, business, administration, and society. The approach was deliberately practical: no abstract discussions about the future, but clear problems, concrete solutions, and initial actionable steps. The results were systematically documented so they could be further processed in SupraWorx and made available for follow-up projects.

Three strands of work were a particular focus:

SupraTank: a new infrastructure concept for social self-efficacy. People, skills, ideas, capital, data, local experiences, and scientific knowledge are to come together in an open structure. Problems are collected, skills made visible, ideas evaluated democratically, and projects translated into clear work packages. Technology serves not as a control instrument, but as a layer of transparency and coordination--with skill matching, a project marketplace, task distribution, peer review, an impact dashboard, and budget transparency. The goal is a structure in which innovation arises not only from institutions or elites, but from society itself.

FutureSkills across the life course: a continuous model for competency development--from kindergarten through school, vocational training, higher education, and gainful employment to continuing education, upskilling, and reskilling. The focus is not on the early miniaturization of future labor market requirements, but on a thoughtful progression: first curiosity, language, self-regulation, and social security; later digital literacy, critical thinking, AI literacy, career guidance, micro-credentials, and labor market-ready recognition.

AI-based consulting for SMEs: an approach to making artificial intelligence practically usable for small and medium-sized enterprises. The focus is on connectivity: AI should not be introduced as an isolated tool, but rather integrated into real processes, existing knowledge, and concrete innovation needs. This creates new opportunities, especially for SMEs, to secure expertise, improve processes, and empower employees in a targeted manner.

"Technology without a sense of purpose is merely acceleration. And acceleration without direction is dangerous," said Tobias Goecke. "When we talk about artificial intelligence, we're not just talking about technology. We're talking about power, fairness, transparency, access, education, and the question of whether people will have more opportunities tomorrow than they do today."

The evening's theme was SPARKS - Igniting Ideas. During a group dinner at the "Bierhaus Dampfschiff" restaurant and the subsequent city tour with the night watchman on the topic of "Saxon Innovations," SupraTix brought together history, the future, and new perspectives. The day thus did not end as an anniversary celebration, but as a starting point for further work.

With the opening of the patent, the co-creation results, and the strong network spanning Saxony, Hamburg, and other regions, SupraTix is sending a clear message: The next ten years should not only be faster, but smarter. Not just more digital, but more human. Not just more innovative, but more effective.
