New Social Platform Built as a Direct Protest Against Algorithmic Harm

SEATTLE, WA, USA- Nodist.pro, a new social networking platform built on a fundamentally different architecture than existing social media, will open beta access on May 1, 2026.

Founded by independent researcher and web pioneer C.R. Kunferman, Nodist.pro was built in direct response to the documented harms of algorithmically-driven social media - including addiction by design, mental health deterioration, child safety failures, and the commodification of human attention.

"The problems are known. The industry has chosen not to fix them," said Kunferman. "Nodist is our protest against the continuation of solutionless landscapes in which even the children are not safe."

Unlike conventional social platforms, Nodist does not use algorithmic feeds, infinite scroll, or engagement-optimization mechanics. Connection on Nodist is built around shared interest nodes - topics, passions, and ideas that bring people together organically, without manipulation.

Nodist is built on a proprietary framework and system developed entirely by Kunferman. How it works has not been published. That it works will be evident on May 1st. The platform also incorporates proprietary technology specifically engineered to curb child endangerment - the technical details of which are intentionally undisclosed to preserve their effectiveness.

These are not incremental improvements to existing social media. Nodist is a ground-level rebuild of what a social platform can be - starting from the question of what genuine human connection requires, rather than what maximizes time on screen.

Nodist launches at a moment of historic legal reckoning for the social media industry, with thousands of families pursuing litigation against major platforms for documented harm to children and teenagers. In recognition of what those families have endured, Kunferman is personally gifting lifetime premium memberships to a select number of victims and their families.
