Blue Lagoon Cruises Presents the New MV Yasawa Princess II - More Comfort, Fewer Guests, More Immersive Experiences

With the official commissioning of the MV Yasawa Princess II, Blue Lagoon Cruises is restructuring its fleet. At the same time, the previous ship, the MV Fiji Princess, was decommissioned on April 13, 2026. This move marks a clear generational shift toward even more exclusive and modern cruise experiences in the South Pacific.

Exclusivity at the highest level

The new MV Yasawa Princess II accommodates a maximum of 44 guests in just 22 cabins. This makes it one of the smallest cruise ships in Fiji--a deliberately chosen concept. Instead of mass tourism, the focus is on privacy, tranquility, and personalized service.

With a length of around 45 meters and its compact design, the ship can navigate to regions that remain inaccessible to larger cruise ships. These include remote islands, hidden bays, and virtually untouched beaches in the Yasawa Archipelago.

Access to Untouched Island Worlds

A key advantage of small boutique ships is particularly evident in the itineraries: guests experience Fiji far away from the usual tourist crowds. The ship often anchors in secluded lagoons--sometimes so close to the shore that guests can swim directly from the ship into the turquoise waters.
