Gardening Instead of Core Updates and Escalation in the Middle East

Sichtschutz ,,Deine Oma" kommt ohne PV-Module aus, laechelt freundlich und bietet stets hilfreiche Tipps zur Pflanzenpflege.
Spring is when the heart starts thinking in color again, and people enjoy the freedom and the sun.
Best of all in your own little outdoor space. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own paradise right at home. A peaceful place to relax, with homegrown food, energy-saving lighting, and plenty of ideas for decor, safety, and practical tips for those on a budget.
The A and Z: Flooring and privacy screens for balconies and gardens
First things first, let's tackle the flooring. If you have a garden, you're clearly at an advantage here. You can feel the grass beneath your bare feet. Of course, you can still cover part of it with various floor coverings or stepping stones. Floor tiles, wood tiles, artificial grass, WPC, natural stone, or outdoor rugs: the selection is enormous. Believe me, I was overwhelmed too. But after some research and consultation, I'm now super happy with the result! It's best to look at as many different options as possible. You'll find a wide selection at home improvement stores, and the advice there has actually gotten surprisingly good!
Here's another tip for balcony and patio owners looking for a beautiful, custom privacy screen: At our partner shop Sichtschutzzaun, you'll find privacy screens in all shapes, colors, and materials--and they're even custom-made! A great idea and probably the best privacy screen out there. Personally, I'm currently saving up for WPC privacy fences with PV modules. These can also be ordered as a set from various online shops--with or without installation. My goal here, too, is to have fewer headaches regarding energy prices in the future, in case Trump decides in two weeks to destroy Iran, in three weeks to occupy Greenland, and in four weeks to leave NATO. Then I'll generate my own electricity, in my garden with my rake in hand. That's my whole personal decentralization. End of story.
My personal balcony favorites
If you'd rather leave the space in your little oasis to the plants, you can also create a cozy spot with a beanbag and a table that hangs on the railing. Feel free to check out our decoration board on Pinterest: there's plenty of inspiration there, as well as some DIY tutorials.
Hanging herb garden
My hanging herb garden gets almost more compliments than I do. But it does have that certain wow factor. All you need is an old ladder, flower pots to hang, and of course, various herbs. Pop the herbs into the planters and then hang them on the rungs of the ladder. It looks best when they're at different heights and slightly staggered. Your hanging herb garden is ready and can be placed in the garden or on the balcony. If you have a very small balcony, you'll love the next DIY project. It's even more space-saving and a real eye-catcher!
The DIY Coconut Macram? Hanging Planter
1. Start by drilling holes through the three dark spots on the coconut to allow water to drain out.
2. Next, open the coconut as carefully as possible. There are many methods; I used a hammer. Just tap around the rim once, and the coconut should open.
3. Now you'll need to tie a macram? knot to hang your coconut. There are countless methods with instructions online.
4. Before you repot your plant into the coconut, I recommend lining the inside of the shell a bit, since it isn't waterproof.
5. Hang it up and you're done!
Finally, a little feel-good tip from me
When I'm out in the garden with my rake, I naturally need to take regular breaks. What always brings me real joy are the sparrows, great tits, and even robins tucking into the fat balls. By now, the little birds know that there's always something tasty in my garden, so I often see more than 10 feathered friends taking turns feasting on the fat balls. It really lifts my spirits and is important for nature, because our wild birds are a vital part of the ecosystem.
If you can imagine finding joy in this as well, I can recommend Vivara's online shop. From bird baths to birdhouses, birdseed, and nesting boxes, they really have everything here.
Have a wonderful summer in your little paradise and be sure to invite "Deine Oma"!
