From Lausanne, Lawcodex unveils a Swiss AI-assisted legal

Designed and developed in Switzerland, the solution combines semantic legal research, advanced document analysis, and data sovereignty in an environment built to meet the evolving needs of the Swiss legal market.

Lausanne - Lawcodex, a LegalTech company based in Lausanne, is announcing the launch of its AI-assisted legal intelligence platform. Developed for individuals, SMEs, and legal professionals, the solution is designed to simplify access to legal information, accelerate research, and structure case analysis through a combination of semantic search, automated document processing, and intelligent analytical tools.

At a time when legal information is abundant, fragmented, and often difficult to use efficiently, Lawcodex offers a centralized approach. The platform enables users to conduct semantic searches across extensive legal databases, extract information from digitized documents, identify key legal entities, summarize court decisions, and generate tailored legal content based on user needs.

Lawcodex also highlights a legal database of more than 1.5 million documents, including legislation, case law, legal doctrine, and other official sources, with announced coverage across all 26 Swiss cantons. The platform further integrates several technology layers, including OCR, natural language processing, named entity recognition, specialized multilingual models, and RAG architectures designed for legal research.

"Our ambition is not to replace attorneys or legal professionals, but to make legal information more accessible, more actionable, and faster to process," said Steven Hori, founder of Lawcodex. "We set out to build, from Lausanne, a Swiss platform rooted in real-world needs-one that helps users better understand a matter, structure an analysis, and save valuable time in both legal and administrative work."

Beyond research, Lawcodex is also developing a broader environment that includes document management, collaboration tools, advanced notifications, and data analytics. The goal is to provide a platform capable of supporting multiple use cases: accessing legal information, preparing analyses, organizing documentation, collaborating efficiently, and making better use of large volumes of legal content.

The company also emphasizes its Swiss identity. Designed and developed in Lausanne, the platform features hosting exclusively in Switzerland, Swiss-based data centers, and a positioning centered on data sovereignty and compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For Lawcodex, this local foundation is a core element of trust for Swiss users-whether individuals, businesses, or legal professionals.

With this launch, Lawcodex aims to position itself within a new generation of Swiss LegalTech solutions: technologies designed not to replace human judgment, but to facilitate access to information, improve productivity, and strengthen analytical capacity in the face of increasingly vast legal corpora.
