Press release from: Blueslice Networks

Montreal, Canada, May 12, 2008 -- Blueslice Networks, the leading provider of multi-profile subscriber management solutions for the Mobile, VoIP, FMC, and M2M markets, announced today that it has named Leonard Scheepsma as its new Vice President of Sales for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.

Leonard has developed his market acumen and technical background in his 18 years of telecommunications experience. At Blueslice, he will continue to grow partnerships and deployments with mobile carriers, VoIP operators, multi-plays, and alternate mobile service providers.

Previously, as Sales Executive in Telecommunications and the HLR/HSS team at Hewlett Packard, Leonard was responsible for business development and direct sales and for managing account teams and associated organizations. He was the initial driver for the HP Opencall subscriber profile management solutions into the EMEA market four years ago, creating the recognition for HP’s HLR/HSS solutions through deployments in this region.

Previously, he was Business Development Manager of Wireless E-solutions at Ericsson, responsible for bridging 2G networks with 3G services and positioning and selling Ericsson Intelligent Networking and Core Network infrastructure including HLR and switching.

“Leonard has been a leader in the drive towards innovative subscriber data federation solutions as well as identifying the need for multi-profile subscriber management,” said Stephan Ouaknine, President and CEO of Blueslice Networks. “He knows ngHLRs well and will be a good fit with the growing Blueslice team.”

“Blueslice has unraveled the challenges for carriers with solutions that start at the level of subscriber management,” said Leonard Scheepsma. “Carriers have to deal with the growth of subscribers’ multiple profiles across networks, high costs of network operations, multi-vendor networks, and difficulties bridging to next gen services without considering the subscriber as their most important asset. Blueslice is now in the hot seat for next gen mobile core and has the sales, deployments, and partnerships to back up their story.”
