Zoey Launches WhatsApp AI Platform That Automates Travel Guidance and Customer Retention

White-label platform for touroperators, OTA's and holiday parks combines AI-powered personalisation with WhatsApp to strengthen traveller engagement, drive rebookings and unlock in-trip revenue

APELDOORN, The Netherlands - Zoey, developed by AI-first marketing company Hyperr.ai, has launched as a WhatsApp AI platform that enables travel companies to automatically and personally guide their customers (white-label) from booking through to their return home - and helps them find their next trip.

Zoey is purpose-built for tour operators, OTAs and holiday park/vacation rental operators, and focuses on structurally improving customer retention and generating additional revenue through personalised communication and in-trip sales.

With Zoey, Hyperr.ai builds on the AI personalisation technology it previously developed with its Recommender Engine - for which Google awarded funding in early 2026 to support further development. Where the Recommender focuses on personalising the entire customer journey on websites and across marketing channels, Zoey extends that intelligence to WhatsApp: the channel with open rates exceeding 90%, where email rarely surpasses 20%.

The platform combines a visual Journey Builder, an AI engine that automatically answers the majority of customer queries, a WhatsApp Newsletter module and a real-time dashboard. Zoey is immediately deployable across a wide range of travel concepts: from tour operators managing complex long-haul itineraries to holiday parks looking to inspire guests locally, and OTAs seeking to personalise at scale.
Customer retention is the biggest challenge in the travel industry: the vast majority of travellers book their next trip with a different provider, simply because contact drops off after they return home. Zoey breaks this cycle by automatically generating personalized recommendations for a next destination based on travel behaviour and preferences. On top of that, the platform creates an additional income stream: via WhatsApp, travellers can book tickets, excursions and activities directly during their trip.
