Instant launches the first AI Photo Studio built for eCommerce

Instant, the AI Shopify store building app trusted by thousands of brands, has announced the release of Instant Studio, the first AI content studio built specifically for eCommerce.

Instant Studio enables ecommerce merchants and marketers to generate studio-quality product photography, lifestyle images, and reusable AI avatars in minutes.

While AI image tools like Google ImageFX, Midjourney, and Adobe Firefly have made visual generation widely accessible, they were not created with retail workflows in mind. Instant Studio aims to close that gap with models tested specifically for eCommerce use-cases.

AI product shots: studio-style visuals with customizable product angles and backgrounds

Lifestyle images: contextual scenes featuring customizable AI avatars

These scenes feature custom backgrounds and models, with resolutions up to 4K. All generated images can be exported directly to Shopify or downloaded for use across any marketing channel.

One of Instant Studio's distinct capabilities is the ability to create reusable AI avatars. Rather than creating one-off images, merchants can produce a consistent cast of on-brand models and use them repeatedly across lifestyle scenes. Avatars can be created from scratch, giving brands full control over their models' look and feel.

Instant Studio is designed to fit into eCommerce design workflows. Users can choose from curated styles, scene presets, or build their own, adjust aspect ratios, image quality, and AI model settings before generating. After the initial input, teams can continue prompting to refine results or create variants.
