About the Author: Linda Altoonian is an acclaimed writer, editor, and educator whose distinguished career spans more than four decades. Born to Armenian American parents, Altoonian grew up immersed in a culture rich with history and tradition, and in a large close-knit family that valued hard work and success. She earned an undergraduate degree in English and Education and a Masters in Human Development. She went on to teach journalism, communications, and publication production earning yearly national awards - including State Journalism Teacher of the Year twice and the Albert Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.
