Set across the American South and Appalachia, with narrative ties to Nashville's cultural and musical landscape, the novel follows a woman drawn back into a past she believed she had escaped after a series of unsettling events connected to an inherited tarot deck. As long buried truths surface, the story examines how fate, symbolism, and generational memory shape identity over time.
Building on this foundation, The Devil Upright continues the series by expanding its folklore driven mythos. Planned for release around Halloween 2026, the novel delves deeper into Southern ritual, ancestral consequence, and the unseen forces that linger in place and bloodline.
