Wheel of India announces 2027 travel dates early

Schneverdingen, February 2026 - Motorcycle tour operator Wheel of India has announced its travel dates for 2027. By publishing its schedule early, the company responds to the growing demand for high-quality motorcycle tours that can be planned well in advance and go beyond classic package travel.

For almost 25 years, Wheel of India has been organizing guided motorcycle tours across the Indian subcontinent and neighboring regions. All routes are developed by motorcyclists for motorcyclists and have been ridden, tested, and continuously refined by the team itself. The company offers only tours based on first-hand riding experience, not concepts developed at a desk.

The 2027 program once again covers a wide range of destinations, from southern India to classic routes in Rajasthan and Nepal, as well as challenging high-altitude tours in the Himalayas. Two tours stand out in particular. Garhwal & Kumaon - biking where gods and tigers live leads through lesser-known regions of the Indian Himalayas, combining vast landscapes with cultural and spiritual highlights. The Spiti Valley tour is considered one of the most authentic motorcycle journeys in India - high-altitude, rugged, and exceptionally scenic.

A key element of Wheel of India's work is its long-standing local partnerships. In the Himalayas, the company has worked closely for many years with Abdul and his two sons, a family from Srinagar with deep knowledge of Ladakh, Zanskar, Garhwal, and Kumaon. Before joining Wheel of India in 2003, Abdul spent more than 14 years working as a trekking guide in the Indian Himalayas and Nepal. His experience continues to shape route planning, route selection, and the daily operation of the tours.

"Many of our guests plan their trips very consciously and well in advance," says Guenni, founder and owner of Wheel of India. "Vacation time needs to be coordinated with family and work commitments. That's why we publish our dates early. We don't sell tours on paper - we ride every route ourselves, often more than once, and rely on local partners who have known the Himalayas all their lives."

Some tours are already in high demand. The 45-day All India Cruise for 2026 is fully booked, while the newly published 2027 date is still available. For Wheel of India, the continued interest in this long-distance journey reflects a growing demand for intensive, slow-paced travel experiences with depth and substance.
