TeeSync Launches on iOS: Golf App Matches Your Free Time with Fair Weather

Free app combines calendar sync, availability scheduling and weather data from 20,000+ courses to help golfers find optimal playing times

TeeSync, a new golf scheduling application, is now available to download free from the Apple App Store. The app combines smart scheduling technology with weather data from over 20,000 courses worldwide to help golfers identify the best times to play.

The app addresses a common challenge: finding time to play when schedules are busy and weather is unpredictable. Solo golfers can set their availability and see when their free time coincides with favourable conditions at their chosen course. Groups can use the app to coordinate rounds without the usual back-and-forth messaging.

TeeSync integrates with popular calendar platforms including Google Calendar, Outlook, and ICS-compatible applications. Users can sync their calendar to automatically set their availability, removing the need for manual updates. When rounds are confirmed, they are automatically added to the user's calendar.

"Every golfer knows the frustration of trying to organise a round," said Alex James, founder of TeeSync. "You check your diary, check the weather, message your friends, wait for replies, and half the time the slot disappears before everyone agrees. We built TeeSync to handle that coordination automatically."

For group play, members set their availability and the app identifies times when everyone can play, alongside weather forecasts for each option. Organisers receive ranked suggestions showing which slots work best for the most people.

The app includes support for multiple golf groups, automatic notifications for round invitations and schedule changes, and direct links to course booking platforms.
