Refex Industries clarifies IT search reports, confirms full cooperation and uninterrupted business operations

Refex Industries Limited (BSE: 532884 | NSE: REFEX) has issued an official clarification to the stock exchanges in response to recent media coverage relating to an Income Tax search operation, widely referred to in public discourse as the Refex Industries IT raid.
In a disclosure filed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Refex Industries confirmed that the Income Tax Department conducted search operations at the company's registered office and certain other locations associated with the group. The search operations commenced on December 9, 2025.
The company stated that it and its officers extended full cooperation to the authorities throughout the process and provided all information as required under applicable laws. It further clarified that its business operations remain completely unaffected and continue without any disruption.
Refex Industries also addressed speculative reports and social media commentary that circulated during the ongoing process. The company noted that several articles appeared even before the completion of the search and without official communication from either the authorities or the company. It categorically denied what it described as incorrect, misleading, and baseless information linked to the Refex Group IT Raid, stating that such narratives do not reflect verified facts or official disclosures.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, regulatory compliance, and ethical business conduct. It stated that it will continue to cooperate with authorities under the guidance of its legal advisors and will make appropriate disclosures to stakeholders as and when required in accordance with applicable laws and SEBI regulations.
The clarification was signed by Ankit Poddar, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, and submitted to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India.
