ClimateCare Co-operative Acquires in First-Ever Members Outside Ontario, Continues Growth
BURLINGTON, ON - ClimateCare Co-operative, Canada's largest network of independent HVAC contractors, is pleased to announce that Tradewinds Eco Energy and Cross Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. have joined the co-op as Discovery Program Participants.The addition of Cross Heating & Air Conditioning helps ClimateCare cement its presence in the extended Greater Toronto Area adding branches in Waterloo, Listowell and Hanover. The company was founded in 1987 by Brad Cross who continues as its president.
Tradewinds Eco Energy operates across much of maritime Canada with multiple offices near Moncton, as well as in Fredericton, Pont-Landry and Charlottetown, PEI. This significant addition represents the first addition of a Discovery Participant anywhere outside Ontario.
At the same time, ClimateCare has entered into an agreement for distribution with Kerr Smart Energy, underpinning its commitment to serving existing and prospective new customers across the greater Atlantic Canada geography, and in keeping with ClimateCare's theme of being truly local.
Executive Director Victor Hyman remarked that "The addition of our first new member and first new distributor in Atlantic Canada marks a truly pivotal moment for our organization. It is far more than just a step-it is the strategic launchpad for our national expansion strategy. This achievement underscores the widespread confidence in our vision and, critically, demonstrates

Concurrently, former Discovery Program Participants Waza Home Comfort in Whitby, Ontario and Absolute Comfort Control Systems in Windsor, Ontario have exited the Discovery program and become Enterprise members of the ClimateCare Co-operative.
"The addition of new members after a one year trial in the Discovery program, as well as the expansion with new participants outside Ontario, truly shows that contractors and business owners see a tremendous value in the offerings of ClimateCare, and are dedicated to staying on the leading edge of business trends that drive value to customers - wherever they're located" noted President Rob Lake.
