Ranakpur Jawai Festival 2025

Ranakpur Jawai Festival 2025

The Ranakpur Jawai Bandh Festival 2025, held on 21st and 22nd December 2025, concluded on a high note, marking a significant milestone for cultural tourism in the Ranakpur-Jawai region. Organised by Rajasthan Tourism in collaboration with the District Administration, Pali, the festival drew enthusiastic participation from tourists, local communities, artists, and stakeholders across the hospitality and tourism ecosystem.
Spread across multiple iconic locations in and around Ranakpur, the two-day festival showcased the region's natural beauty, heritage, adventure offerings, and vibrant folk culture. Day one began with a Plantation Drive at Modiya Magari, reinforcing the message of sustainable tourism, followed by a Jeep Safari in the Ranakpur forest area, which gave visitors an immersive experience of the Aravalli landscape. The evening Deepotsav at the Ranakpur Jain Temple created a striking visual spectacle, blending spirituality with tradition.
Adventure and experiential tourism took centre stage with kite flying, handicraft exhibitions, parasailing, and hot air ballooning at the Helipad Ground near Mana Hotel, attracting families and younger travellers alike. Cultural evenings at the Sun Temple featured performances by Desert Symphony and Kabir Café on Day 1, and a powerful performance by Mame Khan on Day 2, drawing large crowds and creating a festive atmosphere deep into the night.
The second day continued the momentum with various entertainment competitions, a well-received horse show near Hanuman Temple, and strong footfall at the handicraft and local art exhibitions-providing direct economic benefits to artisans and vendors from the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Chaudhary, Assistant Manager - Operations, Mana Hotels, remarked: "The Ranakpur-Jawai Bandh Festival has evolved into a platform that truly represents the soul of this region. The coordination between administration, tourism bodies, local businesses, and the community ensured smooth execution. Most importantly, the festival has positioned Ranakpur and Jawai as winter destinations offering much more than sightseeing-culture, adventure, and authenticity."
Echoing similar sentiments, Vikas Bhati, Assistant Manager - Operations, Mana Hotels, added: "The response from tourists and tour operators has been extremely encouraging. Occupancies in nearby resorts and hotels saw a clear spike, and many visitors extended their stays. Events like these have a direct, measurable impact on regional tourism, employment, and destination branding."
Local hospitality partners, including resorts, safari operators, and restaurants, reported increased bookings and strong guest engagement throughout the festival period. The festival also strengthened the Ranakpur-Jawai circuit's positioning as a responsible tourism destination-balancing conservation, culture, and economic growth.

With its successful execution, strong visitor turnout, and positive impact on the local economy, the Ranakpur Jawai Bandh Festival 2025 has firmly established itself as a flagship tourism event in Rajasthan's winter calendar, setting a strong benchmark for future editions.
