The cesium-promoted catalyst for sulfuric acid is a vanadium-based system (Cs-K-V/SiO2) with cesium sulfate (Cs2SO4) as the core promoter. It achieves ultra-low temperature activity and long life by modifying the lattice structure with cesium ions, and is a high-end sulfuric acid catalyst. The active components of the cesium-promoted catalyst are V2O5+ Cs2SO4+ K2SO4. Its revolutionary breakthrough lies in the formation of an ultra-low temperature molten phase Cs2S2O7-V2O5 (activation temperature 300-350°C), which reduces the ignition temperature to 340°C, which is more than 40°C lower than the potassium promoter. The cesium-promoted catalyst makes the SO2 conversion rate exceed 99.8% at 450°C, meeting the ultra-low emission requirements.
