Terra Incognita Canandaigua Art Exhibit

Photo and ceramic art explodes into an uncharted visual discovery with two artists. Terra Incognita shows the works of photographer Patricia Wilder and Ceramic artist Richard Aerni. The show runs May 1sth to June 1st, with an opening reception Friday, May 2 from 6-8pm at Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery in Canandaigua.

Terra Incognita, is the Latin term for "unknown land", used for regions that have not been mapped or documented. To bring two great artists together in one show sets off a great show of two different medias. “Eye candy is a great way to describe this show,” Pat Rini Rohrer, owner of the gallery says. “Each artist is different but compliment each other.”

About the artists:
Patricia Wilder’s images are made with traditional film and dark room processes. She does not use filters nor digital process equipment.

Richard Aerni clay works involve slip and glaze, with successful pieces that engages the senses. A professional for over twenty five years, Richard’s work can be seen in Rochester, NY, Louisville, KY, Boston, MA, and Cincinnati, OH.
