The Westin Tampa Bay Announces New General Manager, Lukasz Chrzastek, to Lead Landmark Multi-Million Dollar Transformation

Tampa Bay, FLA (December 4, 2025) - The Westin Tampa Bay is proud to announce the addition of Lukasz Chrzastek as its new General Manager. A seasoned hospitality leader with more than 16 years of experience, Chrzastek steps into the role at a pivotal time as the waterfront property undergoes a sweeping, multi-million dollar renovation touching every area of the guest experience.

Chrzastek brings a distinguished background in luxury and full-service hotel operations, with leadership roles at some of Tampa Bay's most iconic properties. He began his career at the historic Vinoy Resort & Spa, advancing through the rooms division before joining the Clearwater Beach Marriott on Sand Key as the Assistant General Manager. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations for the new JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, where he oversaw five food and beverage outlets, the spa, 17,000 sq. ft. of event space, and 198 luxury guest rooms. Under his leadership, the property earned Forbes Recommended status within its first full year of opening.

Chrzastek says the ongoing transformation of The Westin Tampa Bay was one the driving forces behind his decision to join the team.

The fitness center has also been fully transformed with brand-new equipment that aligns with Westin's global commitment to wellness.

Beginning in January, guests will experience the unveiling of the property's completely reimagined signature restaurant, followed by the debut of a new pool and pool deck - setting the stage for what will soon be one of the most compelling waterfront destinations in Tampa Bay.
