NEW GENERAL MANAGER FOR THE DERWENT MANOR

The Derwent Manor in Allensford, Northumberland, has appointed Karl Sharman as General Manager to lead the 70 strong teams at the distinctive country hotel. Karl joins the Derwent Manor following extensive experience at a variety of hotels and spas across the country.

With a career spanning over 15 years at the luxury Classic Lodges hotel chain, Legacy Hotels’ Royal Victoria and the Gilsland Spa in Carlisle, Karl has relocated back to the region to his family's roots and will be responsible for managing the 48 room hotel, located in the heart of the Northumbria countryside.

The Derwent Manor has great potential and I look forward to the wealth of challenges the job has to offer.
