Cryogenic flow meter is an instrument specially designed to measure the flow rate of cryogenic fluid. Cryogenic fluid usually refers to liquids with extremely low temperature, such as liquid nitrogen (boiling point about -196°C), liquid oxygen (boiling point about -183°C), liquid hydrogen (boiling point about -253°C) and liquefied natural gas (LNG, the main component is methane, boiling point about -162°C). These cryogenic fluids are widely used in modern industry, energy, scientific research and other fields, and accurate measurement of their flow is crucial for production process control, energy metering, safety assurance and other aspects.

The main manufacturers of cryogenic flow meters in the world include KROHNE, Emerson, Yokogawa, etc. The top three manufacturers account for more than 40% of the market share. For companies producing cryogenic flow meters, there are both opportunities and challenges.
