A new fantasy strategy game has launched on Kickstarter, bringing fast-paced battles, contested combat, and deep replayability to game nights. Kings of Kirth blends tactical decision-making, dice-driven risk, and accessible rules to create a tabletop experience that's easy to learn yet challenging to master.
The game is built around clear objectives and interactive combat. Players choose an army, maneuver their forces, and pursue three distinct victory conditions: capture the Soul Forge, defeat the enemy King, or achieve total domination. Unlike many strategy games where combat is resolved unilaterally, every attack in Kings of Kirth invites a counter, making each encounter a real fight with real consequences.

Replayability comes from the combination of contested combat, multiple win conditions, and the unique playstyles of each faction. Some armies rely on precision and coordination, others on brute force, defense, or opportunistic tactics. Choosing the right army is as strategic as the moves made once the battle begins.
Every game box includes two unique starting armies, and players can purchase additional armies individually, expanding their strategic options over time while keeping the ruleset consistent.
"Kings of Kirth was born from a simple idea my son and I sketched out when he was eight," said James Huff. "What began as a dice-based twist on chess grew into a complete world with armies, powers, and battles based on the lore from our home brew campaign."
