✅ 2025-06-11: SMS group announced a modernization deal with Jindal Shadeed (Oman): upgrading their 8‐strand Concast caster to produce new billet sizes (180 mm and 200 mm square). The upgrade includes CONSTIR‐MEMS electromagnetic stirrer, CONFLOW stopper, and enhanced automation for quality and flexibility.

✅ 2025-10-21: Danieli secured a new order (Henan Fengbao, China) for a 3-strand continuous caster to produce ultra‐large, high-alloy round billets (up to 1,000 mm dia) - grades include P91/P92 (used in power, petrochemical, high-pressure applications). Danieli will supply core design, key equipment, and full L1/L2 automation.
