Olive oil harvest 2025/26: Stable vintage in the Mediterranean region - first fresh olive oils from December at Maison Br?mond 1830 Munich

Munich, November 2025 - The 2025/26 olive oil harvest shows an overall stable picture despite regional weather extremes. While Spain and southern Italy were affected by hot spells, France and central and northern Italy reported a solid development of olives. For consumers in Munich who want to buy high-quality olive oil, the new season starts particularly early: the first fresh vintage oils will be available from Maison Br?mond 1830 as early as December.

First fresh olive oils available from December 2025

Maison Br?mond 1830 Munich will receive the first olive oils from the new harvest as early as December 2025. The early batches from France in particular - especially from Provence - impress with their intense green aromas, low acidity and artisanal processing. Due to the limited quantity, these harvest oils are among the most sought-after premium products.

More olive oils from February 2026

Additional olive oils from France, Italy and Spain will follow from February 2026, making Maison Br?mond 1830 Munich once again one of the first specialist stores in Germany to offer almost the entire range of the new 2025/26 harvest - an advantage for anyone who wants to buy fresh, high-quality olive oil.

Harvest situation at a glance

France

France is reporting a stable season for 2025/26 with healthy olive stocks, particularly in Provence and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

Spain

In parts of Andalusia, heat and drought led to lower harvest volumes. However, the quality of early harvested fruit remains high.

Italy

"While some southern regions of Italy have suffered from heat, the development of olives in central and northern Italy has been much more stable. Producers there expect a solid harvest quality for 2025/26."

Why premium olive oil is in such demand

The demand for high-quality olive oils continues to rise - especially in cities like Munich, where conscious nutrition, transparency and quality are becoming increasingly important. When buying olive oil, customers now pay more attention to comprehensible quality criteria. These include

clear origin and traceability

Visible harvest date and indication of the harvest season

artisanal pressing in small mills

low acid and peroxide values as a sign of freshness

high polyphenol content for flavor and antioxidant properties

single-varietal bottlings with clear sensory profiles

cool, light-protected storage from harvest

Sustainable and careful cultivation of the olive groves

These factors are playing an increasingly important role in the purchasing decision, as they are directly linked to the quality, freshness and authenticity of an olive oil.

Maison Br?mond 1830 Munich offers one of the leading premium ranges for anyone who wants to buy high-quality olive oil.
