Cold forged nuts are mechanical fasteners manufactured using the cold forging process, a technique that shapes metal at room temperature through high-pressure dies and punches. The Cold Forging Process Explained

Cold forging typically involves five stages:

3. Cold Heading - A high-speed press shapes the metal into its preliminary form.
4. Trimming - Excess material is removed to achieve precise dimensions.
5. Threading and Finishing - The nut is threaded (via tapping) and treated for corrosion resistance.
