Carmen Sinata Defies AI-Era Perfection with Raw Demo "More"

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 28, 2025 - Independent artist Carmen Sinata is challenging the idea of perfection in pop music with the surprise release of her raw demo "More." The underwater-sounding, electronic track offers a vulnerable look into her unfiltered creative process - a sharp contrast to the hyper-polished sound dominating the AI age.

Known for her cinematic pop and poetic lyricism, Sinata shared "More (Raw Demo / Unreleased Version)" directly on SoundCloud ahead of her official debut single "24," arriving November 14.

"I know how to master and mix - I have the setup, and my boyfriend's an audio engineer - but this one felt too personal to touch," Sinata says. "It always felt like something between an interlude and a song, but the lyrics hit me hard. I wanted people to hear what actually happened in that moment."

Recorded in two freestyled takes at home and later edited on AirPods between classes, "More" captures the immediacy of emotion. Some lyrics remain half-formed, echoing Sinata's stream-of-consciousness style where feeling leads and words follow. "There was barely any gibberish," she adds. "I just said what I felt - you can literally hear the pain in my voice."

Though she typically avoids heavy autotune, Sinata embraced it for "More," using it to enhance the track's fragile, dreamlike atmosphere. "I liked how the autotune made it sound even more raw," she explains. "It highlights every imperfection - every moment of doubt - and that felt real."

With lush reverb, ambient synths, and an off-kilter structure, "More" drifts between worlds - both human and digital. "It's so electronic and oddly structured that I don't think AI could recreate it yet," Sinata laughs. "It's kind of fun to make something that feels human in its weirdness."

For Sinata, leaking the demo was an act of transparency. "I don't even have a Spotify page yet - it goes live on November 14 when '24' drops - but I wanted people to see how songs actually start. Even if it's messy, it's mine."

"More" marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Los Angeles-based artist, who also teases an upcoming collaboration with rapper WhoisKevinKent. Both projects highlight her signature blend of vulnerability, cinematic storytelling, and electronic experimentation - an aesthetic that feels deeply personal yet distinctly modern.
