Matheny spent the past seven years with Dalton Wade Real Estate Group, where she represented over $65 million in sales. Born and raised in Central Florida, she combines a deep understanding of the local market with a high standard of professionalism that consistently delivers results. Over the past 12 months alone, she has represented more than $13 million. Known for her clear communication, thorough contract work, skilled negotiations and innovative marketing, Matheny has earned a reputation as one of the area's most trusted advisors.

Matheny's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with an emphasis on leadership from Southeastern University. Before entering the real estate industry full-time, Matheny served her community in law enforcement for nearly two decades, including roles as a detective with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, where she focused on fraud investigations, and earlier as a police officer in Winter Haven.
Engel & Volkers Lakeland will offer residential and luxury real estate services throughout Polk County and surrounding areas. While Matheny searches for the ideal retail space to launch the brand's signature Engel & Volkers shop, the brokerage will operate temporarily from 3699 Airfield Drive West, Suite 6, within the Lakeland Linder International Airport.
