Charlotte Trusted Upholstery Experts: LCM Company Introduces

Deep Extraction Cleaning - At Your Home

At LCM Company, we specialize in professional upholstery and carpet cleaning [https://lcm.company/residential] with convenient in-home service across the Charlotte Metro Area. We serve Charlotte and nearby communities - Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Monroe, Huntersville, Concord, Gastonia, Fort Mill, and other surrounding areas.

Our team uses professional equipment and certified cleaning solutions that are safe for people, pets, and fabrics. All work is performed in compliance with IICRC standards.

How We Work?

Before starting, our technician carefully inspects the furniture and determines the fabric type - this helps prevent damage from moisture or pressure.

Every piece of furniture has a cleaning code:

* W - Wet cleaning only
* S - Solvent-based (dry cleaning only)
* W/S - Combination type; both methods are allowed
* X - Vacuum only, no water or chemicals

If there's no tag, we run a small test in an inconspicuous area to determine whether the fabric can be cleaned with an extractor or requires a dry method.

Cleaning Steps

* Dry preparation (vacuuming) - Removes the top layer of dust, pet hair, and debris so the cleaning agent works on the fabric, not the dirt.
* Removing water-soluble stains. At this stage, we eliminate glue, ink, nail polish, paint, cosmetics, and even blood stains.
* Prespray (enzyme treatment). A specialized enzyme formula breaks down organic residues like sweat, food, grease, beverages, and pet odors.
* Main cleaning.

Synthetic fabrics - hot water extraction (deep rinse).

Delicate fabrics - gentle low-moisture cleaning.

* Removing remaining stains. Any residues of food, drinks, or grease that appear after the main cycle are treated.
* Acidic rinse. Neutralizes alkaline residues, restores the fabric's pH, and prevents water marks.
* Finishing treatment. Optional protective coating applied to prevent future stains. Fast drying is available so furniture can be used the same day.

Materials and Cleaning Specifics

Different fabrics react to water and temperature in their own way:

* Natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool): absorb water and can shrink, so they're cleaned gently with time and temperature control.
* Synthetic fabrics (microfiber, polyester, nylon): durable and water-safe, but trap oils in lower layers - require thorough rinsing.
* Blended fabrics: the most common; balance is key - too much moisture causes water marks, too little leaves dirt behind.
* Velour, chenille, velvet: cleaned along the nap with delicate brushing and low pressure.
* Leather and eco-leather: cleaned manually with soft pH-balanced solutions and conditioned afterward.

For carpets: dense piles are washed with an extractor; rugs with glue backing or long natural piles are cleaned using a dry method only.

What's Included?

We clean all types of upholstered furniture: sofas, sectional couches (including corner), armchairs, ottomans, chairs, headboards, and mattresses. We also handle carpets, area rugs, and office upholstery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you remove pet odors completely?

Yes. If the fabric allows treatment, the odor is neutralized from inside - not masked. The process usually takes about one hour.

How long does it take for furniture to dry?

Typically 12-15 hours. Upon request, we can provide accelerated drying.

Do you clean white or delicate fabrics?

Yes. We use a gentle cycle and minimal moisture for such materials.

How to check if my fabric can be wet-cleaned?

Look at the cleaning tag. If it says "S," dry cleaning only - no water.

What if I'm not satisfied with the result?

Let us know - we'll come back and fix it at no cost if it's our fault.
