AVS-42CM180 Network Camera - March 31,2008
The AVS-42CM180 Network Camera allows for a 180 degree panorama with high resolution imaging from four 2 Megapixel cameras. Each camera delivers in progressive scan at 1600x1200 fields at 22 FPS.
Additionally, the AVS-42CM180 has other intuitive features. The AVS-42CM180 has no need for moving parts when it comes to PTZ movements. Instead, all PTZ actions happen instantaneously through different video streams, while still being able to transmit full panoramic view. Furthermore, the AVS-42CM180 IP Camera has the ability to zoom in to any part of recorded video, ideal for forensic use or the like.
The AVS-42CM180 has advanced networking capabilities as well. It reduces cable wiring during installation, since it can draw power from the network it is connected to. Users can also set up to four different Regions of Interest (ROI) for each camera within the AVS-42CM180, each customizable for resolution and compression quality.
Due to its high quality video, panoramic capabilities, and other features, the AVS-42CM180 is the cost effective solution compared to installing many ip cameras.
