Instead of making arrangements with a 3D scanning company, give them your car, organize space for measurements - you could simply use existing 3D models.
So far we 3D scanned Vans on demand by specific clients. For example, we 3D scanned interiors for optimal fitting and maximal space usage in an ambulance. We scanned the cabin exterior multiple times to design the best fitting spoilers. We decided to come forward to meet our clients’ expectations - they wanted to shorten the time of getting 3D models, so we created a database of ready to use 3D scans. We have only just started, but we will expand the base of scanned vehicles - said Przemek Zawadzki, coordinator of motoscan3D.com.
3D scans of cars can be used during design of parts and accessories installed in cars. It makes it possible to design the best fitted parts and avoid collisions.
Motoscan3d is the new online store with 3d scans of cars for 3d CAD modeling, especially for van conversion companies.
