Our mission began with simple idea- to find a sustainable solution to one of the world's biggest problems: global warming and waste management. Plastic bags are a major cause of this crisis.

Studies reveal that the average person consumes more than 5 grams of plastic every week through food and water. This is why we called on everyone to join the Plastic-Free Awareness Campaign.

In the beginning people were slow to respond until 2010, we stayed committed. We even imported a full container of jute bags from India and Bangladesh ,where such fabrics were mainly available -so customers could readily purchase alternatives. After waiting for nearly five years, we received our first major orders from Emirates Airlines and ADNOC convenience stores. That was the turning point.

Today, Green Bags UAE has grown to become a well-known brand. Our products are available in more than 1,000 retail outlets, and we have proudly served over 4,000 customers across the UAE and GCC, including small and medium enterprises as well as leading corporates. In 2022, we expanded operations to Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in 2024 we entered Riyadh as well.

Our mission is to promote reusable culture by offering sustainable products made from jute, cotton, juco, and canvas fabrics. Using just one reusable cotton bag or canvas bag can replace more than 3,000 single-use plastic bags. This is not only an environmental responsibility but a social commitment.
