Millimeter-wave radar is a radar sensor that uses an antenna to emit millimeter waves with a wavelength of 1-10mm and a frequency of 24-300GHz as radiated waves. Millimeter-wave radar obtains physical environmental information such as the relative distance, relative speed, angle and direction of movement between the car and other objects by processing the target reflection signal. Millimeter-wave radar can track and classify targets based on the detected object information. The electronic control unit (ECU) makes intelligent decisions based on the dynamic information of the vehicle body, and informs the driver through various sensing methods such as sound, light and touch, or directly performs automatic speed change and braking processing, thereby reducing the probability of driving accidents. It is mainly used for adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, blind spot detection, lane change assistance, parking assistance, rear vehicle warning, pedestrian detection, etc., and has the advantage of stable detection of targets under adverse weather conditions such as rain and snow.
