Formby, 4 September 2025 - One of Britain's most recognisable hospitality landmarks, Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, is preparing for a major transformation. Under the stewardship of the Harland & Poston Group, the resort will undergo a multi-phase renovation designed to modernise its facilities and secure its position as a premier destination in the Northwest of England. The refurbishment opens doors for an exclusive investment programme, structured by the Group's investment company, HP Invest, granting private investors the chance to take part in the rejuvenation of this iconic property.

A Modernised Vision for a Heritage Resort

The redevelopment plan includes:
- 106 refurbished rooms delivered in phases through to 2027
- A new wedding venue with 24 lodges
- A complete gym renovation
- A reimagined food & beverage offering

Refurbished event and leisure spaces, with improved reception and lobby areas

The phased programme begins in September 2025 with additional guest rooms, gym modernisation and rolling F&B renovation, followed by the introduction of the wedding lodges in 2027. The hotel is expected to reach full stabilisation in 2028.

To support the expansion, HP Invest - the investment arm of Harland & Poston Group - is offering three tailored investment options. With projected fixed annual returns of 6%, 7.5% or 10%, investors could realise a five-year return on investment of 30%, 37.5% or 50%, with capital fully asset-backed.
