Military Veterans Join Virtue Recovery to Expand Community Outreach with Hope and Support

U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Adam Khosroabadi and U.S. Army Veteran Chauncy Nash have joined Virtue Recovery's outreach team, expanding nationwide support for Veterans and others facing addiction, PTSD, and mental health challenges.
Virtue Recovery is proud to welcome two U.S. Veterans-Adam Khosroabadi (U.S. Marine Corps) and Chauncy Nash (U.S. Army)-to its growing Business Development Team. These new hires reflect the organization's continued commitment to supporting Veterans and individuals facing addiction, PTSD, and mental health challenges nationwide.
Empowering Recovery Through Experience
Adam Khosroabadi joins as a Community Outreach Specialist, serving Virtue's Oregon facilities in Astoria and Milwaukie. A Marine Corps Combat Veteran and advocate in the Portland behavioral health community, Adam brings personal experience in recovery, along with a strong background in outreach and business development. His compassionate, boots-on-the-ground approach fosters trust and connection with both Veterans and civilians in need of support.
Chauncy Nash, a retired U.S. Army Veteran with 20 years of service and multiple combat deployments, steps in as Business Development Liaison. Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Chauncy combines military leadership with healthcare expertise, having spent recent years managing regional partnerships in the treatment sector. He is also pursuing a degree in software development, combining technical knowledge with a people-first approach.
Strengthening Community Connections
Adam and Chauncy's additions are more than personnel moves-they represent Virtue Recovery's mission to meet people where they are, particularly Veterans navigating the complex intersection of trauma, addiction, and recovery. Their lived experiences uniquely position them to build authentic connections, expand outreach efforts, and offer hope to individuals and families seeking lasting change.
A Holistic, Dual-Diagnosis Approach
Virtue Recovery operates accredited drug detox and recovery centers across Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas. Its treatment model integrates mental health and substance use care, offering dual-diagnosis [https://www.virtuerecoverycenter.com/treatment/dual-diagnosis/] programs tailored to each individual. Services like the eating disorder [https://virtueeatingdisorder.com/] services in Arizona include evidence-based therapies, spiritual and emotional healing, and a supportive environment designed to foster long-term recovery.
As part of its expanded offerings, Virtue also highlights its sister facility in Las Vegas-Silver State Adolescent Treatment [https://silverstateadolescenttreatment.com]-which provides specialized residential care for teens struggling with mental health and substance use issues.
Leadership's Vision
"Adam and Chauncy bring heart, grit, and deep empathy to our team," said Michael Banis, Chief Development Officer. "Their service backgrounds and personal recovery stories strengthen our mission and deepen our impact."
