Pulse Advertising appoints Gün Aydemir as Executive Creative Director
LONDON, September 05, 2025 - The international social media agency Pulse Advertising is expanding its leadership team: Gün Aydemir has taken on the role of Executive Creative Director as of February 1, 2025. With over 15 years of experience at the intersection of creativity, entertainment, and digital communication, he will play a pivotal role in strengthening the agency's creative direction and is globally responsible for all creative output for Pulse Advertising clients.Founded in 2014 by Lara Daniel and Chris Kastenholz, Pulse Advertising today employs more than 125 people across 11 offices worldwide - including London, Milan, Hamburg, Berlin, New York, and Shanghai. The agency supports global brands such as Apple, Estée Lauder, BlackRock, and Nestlé in becoming first-choice brands through social media. About Gün Aydemir: Biography
Gün Aydemir is an Executive Creative Director specialized in the digital space. Raised in Germany's Black Forest region, he began his career as a radio host, cultural event organizer, and poetry slammer before moving into film production, where he created music videos, TVCs, and branded documentaries for brands such as Wrigley's, Red Bull, and McDonald's. Güns work has been awarded with 150+ awards from Cannes Lions to the German ADC.
In 2009, he transitioned into the agency world at Jung von Matt, where he led digital work for Nike and Mercedes-Benz. Later, at HEIMAT/tbwa Berlin, he established the digital unit VRTKL and oversaw clients including HORNBACH, adidas, CNN, and Google.
In 2016, together with Joko Winterscheidt and Matthias Schweighöfer, he co-founded the agency CC15, specializing in branded entertainment, series, and shows for brands, broadcasters, and VOD platforms. He then returned to Jung von Matt/Neckar as ECD/MD, where he spearheaded the #THELÄND campaign to international acclaim, winning multiple awards including at SXSW.
Most recently, Gün served as Executive Creative Director at antoni_garage, where he was responsible for digital campaigns, communications structures, and activations in music, gaming, and fashion for Mercedes-Benz. Beyond agency life, Gün is a member of the Art Directors Club Germany (ADC), a juror at the SXSW Interactive Awards, and a lecturer at institutions including the Miami Ad School.
He is also a father of three, a passionate hunter, a certified lifeguard, and known for having written exactly one TVC in his career: the legendary, never-broadcast Mercedes-Benz spot "Adolf."
