Olanrewaju Kunle Quam, popularly known as Tushy, shares

Tushy's love for music started in childhood, playing drums after church services and gradually moving into
singing and songwriting. Raised by his grandmother, who instilled strong values in him, Tushy's early
music experiences were deeply rooted in church choirs across Lagos. Despite the challenges and concerns
from family about the music industry, he remained focused on his craft. "I was always the drummer boy,
but I wanted to sing," Tushy recalls. His dedication saw him rise to choir coordinator and Teens President
in his church, winning competitions and building valuable connections.
At 18, life's realities challenged him, but these moments also unlocked his true artistic identity. Tushy
began writing songs seriously while facing personal struggles, using music as an outlet for expression. His
move to Anchor University marked a turning point when he started recording freestyles and cyphers,
sometimes using just an iPhone, showcasing his raw talent and innovative spirit. This period led to the
creation of his producer alter ego, XVI WVE, blending unique sounds and styles that define his signature
music.
"The journey hasn't been easy, but every step shaped who I am today," Tushy explains. "XVI WVE is a part
of me that allows the full expression of my creativity, producing sounds that are fresh and authentic. I'm
excited to share this with the world through my upcoming project."

He has been a worker at church since 9yrs old. Luckily for him he's grandma was also someone that loves working for God she was also a chorister. Tushy is someone who loves music so much and he's ready to make it through music and entertainment in general.
