Yes you can get cheap wine here in Spain but you can also buy good wine cheaply, if you know where to look. This article though, about the free wine was not any type of windup. It is part of an EU initiative and study by a university here in Spain and is open to residents of Spain, regardless of their nationality plus it is going to run for 4 years. Yes there were criteria for applicants, but this was covered in the article, to avoid any hidden suprises.
