Press release from: Spotted Dingo

April 14, 2008 – New York - Spotted Dingo today announced the release of CryptoBriefcase, a new desktop application that allows users to easily encrypt multiple electronic files using either the DES (64-bit), RC2 (128-bit) or the Triple DES (192-bit) encryption algorithm into one manageable (briefcase) file.

Utilizing Microsoft .NET technology, CryptoBriefcase allows business professionals to easily encrypt their sensitive documents before taking files out of the office or placing them on servers for transmission to clients. For easy decryption, all of the encrypted files within the briefcase are automatically decrypted back to their original state by using the same password which was used in the original encryption process.

Due to the lost of personal information on unsecured data files within the United States, companies are facing a greater threat to legal proceedings resulting in heavy fines, adverse financial judgments and negative public opinion. CryptoBriefcase can help individuals’ and companies stem this adverse tide by offering an easy way to encrypt and decrypt their sensitive data. One more advantage is that this approach is affordable, easy to use and easily accessible within the United States via the Internet.
