A specific example he cites is a French-German joint venture that found itself in a crisis following the completion of a greenfield investment in Slovakia.

"The company struggled with ramping up production. We ensured stable deliveries to customers, improved product quality and output, and introduced robust production and shopfloor systems. Once stable operations were established and the turnaround successfully completed, we handed over leadership to the newly appointed permanent local director," says Schmitz.

Currently, Wesconi is managing a major greenfield project with an investment of over €120 million near Rimavská Sobota, of which they are particularly proud. They are providing comprehensive project management when their role covers all phases of the project - from planning and construction through to production ramp-up.

"This project has a significant impact on the entire region - it involves the construction of a modern manufacturing plant and will create over 400 new jobs, thereby contributing to economic development and the growth of industrial production in southern Slovakia," says Schmitz.
