Charles Ickes Appointed Chief Operating Officer of Elanders Group
Gothenburg, Sweden - June 25, 2025 - Elanders Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Ickes as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Charles will continue in his current roles as CEO of Bergen Logistics and CEO of CloudX Systems, adding the COO position to support the strategic alignment and operational integration of Elanders' global supply chain network.As COO, Charles will be responsible for enhancing operations' scalability, efficiency, and cohesion across Elanders' global logistics and supply chain subsidiaries. This role builds on his success in leading Bergen Logistics' growth across North America and CloudX's evolution into a next-generation warehouse management platform.
"Charles brings a unique combination of operational rigor, digital innovation, and commercial acumen," said Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Elanders Group. "His leadership will be instrumental in building a unified, technology-driven logistics platform with global reach."
Charles will focus on driving profitable and sustainable growth across the Elanders Supply Chain Network, harmonizing technology infrastructure, and enabling AI-powered, data-driven operations throughout the group.
