The Shri Ram Universal School, Greater Noida West organised its first ever two-day annual inter-school Model United Nations (MUN) conference, themed "Sustainable Development- Shaping a Resilient Future."
Delegates from across the schools in the vicinity gathered to celebrate the power of youth diplomacy in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Students of Grades 5 to 8 participated in this prestigious event, where they had the opportunity to develop diplomatic skills and deep understanding of some of the most complex global issues.
The conference was graced by the presence of Vice Chairman Mr. Yoginder Singh, Director Ms. Vandana Singh, Dr. Jay Kumar Singh, Ms. Nidhi Kaushik (Assistant Executive, Shri Educare Limited), Principal Ms. Jyoti Rana, and Vice Principal Ms. Jyoti Roy. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by all the esteemed dignitaries.
The students participated in various committees of the United Nations, such as the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW), the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and the International Press (IP). The committees were chaired by Mr. Vignesh Ramanath (UNCSW), Ms. Vanshika Arora (UNGA), and Ms. Anu Mehta (IP).
During the conference, participants engaged in debates on pressing global issues such as climate change, gender equality, and sustainable development goals. They presented solutions and worked towards building consensus.

TSUS MUN 2025 provided the delegates of 42 countries to step into the shoes of world leaders, voicing and echoing their opinions on matters that matter - through speeches, drafting, and passing resolution on the shared belief that a sustainable future is both possible and necessary.
