MacArthur Park Entertainment is excited to announce the completion of principal photography on the feature film Night Driver. The film wrapped production in Los Angeles in June and stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network), Rainey Qualley (Off the Record), Gabriel Mann (Revenge), Joely Fisher (Killing Winston Jones) Jere Burns (Justified), Brit Morgan (True Blood), Coby Connell (Cash), and Morgan Krantz (In the Dark) and is written and directed by John Bevilacqua (Hollywood '95) and produced by John Logsdon (Eric Clapton Unplugged...Over 30 Years Later) with casting by Candice Bernstein and Miriam Hoffman.
Night Driver is a throwback to classic car genre films of the '70s. In modern-day Los Angeles, Sonny spends his nights driving around town making pickups and deliveries for people who prefer discretion. Back home after serving tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, Sonny is haunted by the sights of war and suffers from PTSD. Juggling requests from his criminal boss, his girlfriend and his ex-wife, Sonny is simply trying to make it to the morning intact.
Said producer Logsdon, "We're thrilled with how Night Driver came together. Bevilacqua created this retrowave neo noir film with all the crazy characters and irreverence of a Tarantino world. Armie Hammer delivers an amazing performance in a role that was tailor made for him."
