Image Angel Partners with STISA to Strengthen Global Response to Image-Based Sexual Abuse
London, UK - 24 July 2025 - Image Angel is proud to announce a new partnership with STISA , a global initiative with a survivor centric approach to combatting image based sexual abuse online.STISA (Survivors & Tech Solving Image-Based Sexual Abuse) works to empower and connect helplines, hotlines, and frontline initiatives across the world that provide essential support to victims of IBSA. By building a global network of survivor-centred organisations, STISA strengthens the collective capacity to respond to abuse, the removal of non-consensual content, and uphold the digital dignity of those affected.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and action. Image Angel and STISA will support each other's work-exchanging resources, insights, and networks-to further a common mission: ending image-based sexual abuse and protecting the rights of survivors everywhere.
"We are proud to stand alongside STISA in this vital work," said Madelaine Thomas, Founder of Image Angel. "Combating image-based abuse requires collective effort and a survivor-first approach. Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen the global ecosystem that works to challenge the abuse of intimate images and support those impacted."
The collaboration underscores Image Angel's role not only as a technology platform, but as a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to ethical impact and solidarity with the survivor community. In alignment with STISA's survivor-centric philosophy, Image Angel remains committed to developing solutions and partnerships that meaningfully address the harms of non-consensual intimate image sharing.
Together, Image Angel and STISA reaffirm the importance of uniting across sectors and borders to create a safer digital world.

Image Angel was created in response to the prevalence of non-consensual intimate image abuse committed online. Their technology provides a deterrent to perpetrators by embedding invisible watermarks into images, allowing victims to trace the non-consensual sharing of their intimate image back to the perpetrator. User-to-user platforms can integrate Image Angel's technology to protect their users - technology which has been recommended as best practice by the UK Department for Science, Innovation & Technology
