Kanteron Systems recibe la aprobación de la FDA para comercializar KDS en EEUU
Valencia -- 1 de abril, 2008 - Kanteron Systems ha recibido la aprobación 510K de la Food and Drug Administration para la comercialización de su estación KDS (Kanteron DICOM Station) en los EEUU.El sistema KDS es el servidor PACS y estación multimodal de procesado y reconstrucción de imagen médica digital más rápida, segura, estable y asequible del mercado.
KDS permite a las instituciones sanitarias, entre otras cosas, almacenar estudios DICOM, realizar fusión multimodal y marcado de ROIs (con plantillas), interconectarlo con otros equipos tanto para trabajo en red como en computación distribuída, anonimizar los datos personales de los pacientes (cumpliendo así la Ley de Protección de Datos), ofrecer telemedicina gracias a su videconferencia y colaboración integradas a tiempo real, y reconstruir en 3D, 4D y 5D (y en alta definición) los estudios de imagen médica que así lo requieran.
Y todo ello con el Sistema Operativo más estable, menos vulnerable a virus y ataques, y más sencillo de usar del mundo y a velocidades record en la reconstrucción y navegación en 3D, 4D y 5D de imágenes médicas.
Las estaciones KDS están ya disponibles en el mercado en todo el mundo. De hecho hay múltiples instaladas en lugares tan remotos como Australia, China, Italia, Portugal, o España. En EEUU, donde su sistema ya ha sido probado por alguno de los médicos y hospitales de mayor prestigio del mundo, gracias a la aprobación por la FDA Kanteron Systems podrá empezar a comercializar su sistema KDS a través de distribuidores.
Otros productos de Kanteron Systems
Como accesorios a las estaciones KDS, y dentro de su división médica, Kanteron Systems también ofrece una serie de periféricos (como dispositivos de visualización y manipulación de imagen a través de lápiz digital, dispositivos de copias de seguridad con acceso biométrico, ordenadores de bolsillo, equipamiento para la teleasistencia domiciliaria, etc).
Además, como complemento a KDS, Kanteron Systems acaba de introducir el Kanteron RIS (Radiology Information System), para la gestión de los departamentos de radiología (incluídas listas de trabajo o facturación) y Kanteron EHR (Electronic Health Record) un potente sistema de información que permite a las instituciones médicas disponer del historial médico electrónico del paciente.
